The development of new tools, techniques, and fundamental chemistry perspectives on aerosol particles — the central theme of CAICE — is featured as part of an issue focusing on Pittcon in Chemical & Engineering News, published by the American Chemical Society. Faculty involved in CAICE gave lectures on a variety of topics highlighting recent developments made within our Center, including our novel sea spray generation techniques, microscopy studies of aerosols, as well as how particles chemically react with trace gases and accommodate water condensation.
