Fundamental Studies Probe How The Chemistry of our Ocean and Atmosphere Impact Climate

The Center for Aerosol Impacts on Climate and the Environment (CAICE) is a National Science Foundation funded Phase I Center for Chemical Innovation. Our aim is to bring a new perspective of fundamental chemistry studies to probe how the chemical complexity of atmospheric particles affects our atmosphere and climate.  As our Center develops and grows, we will be using continually developing and using more innovative analytical methods for studying aerosol-climate interactions.
