Prof. Timothy H. Bertram

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, RT2 LEAD

Dr. Timothy Bertram is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and an Affiliate Professor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Prior to joining the faculty at UW Madison, Dr. Bertram was on the faculty at UC San Diego. Dr. Bertram was a postdoc at the University of Washington, where he developed a novel technique for the study of trace gas – aerosol reactions conducted in situ using ambient aerosol. His graduate work at UC Berkeley focused on aircraft and satellite observations of reactive nitrogen molecules that were used to better constrain nitrogen oxide emissions and the subsequent production of ozone in the troposphere. Dr. Bertram completed his undergraduate work at Colby College in Waterville, ME.
